Elevating Hunterskill Recruitment with fresh branding and an online digital registration form designed to streamline their recruitment operations.
Hunterskill is one of the leading recruitment firms in Ipswich, specialising in commercial and industrial positions this company has over 10 years experience in the sector. The requirement for candidates to download lengthy PDF documents in order for Hunterskill to act on their behalf was an antiquated process and required updating.
Our Approach.
Modernising the Hunterkill brand was a major focus of this project. We wanted to bring a consistent aesthetic to the brand design of all the businesses under the Hunterskill Associates group. Once we had established a strong brand aesthetic we built a robust website with advanced features and functionality.
Branding.
Logo evolution.
We were asked to refresh the Hunterskill Recruitment logo as it was not fulfilling the needs of our client. The old logo included gradients and elements that would not be able to adapt to different sizes and locations. We broke down the existing Hunterskill Recruitment logo into its core elements; the ‘radar lines’ (signifying the search for the right position for their clients) and the ‘tick’ (which signifies the achievement of finding the right position for their clients). We then created the new logo mark using flat colour elements and created variations of the logo which would work on varying background colours.



Adaptive Design.
When creating branding for our clients we always create variations of the logo mark which utilise the brand colours to enable the mark to be visible and clear on various background colours.




Brand Guidelines.
Branding is all about consistency. We create all the additional marketing assets to enable our clients to apply their brand across all digital and print formats. This consists of business cards, letterheads, logo assets, typography, colour systems, iconography and future proof web assets.

Website Application.
In order to streamline the registration process, we needed to aggregate all the physical documentation and resources required and digitise the information. A step by step process had to be mapped out and designed within a user-friendly interface in order for candidates to complete their registration process.
The digital candidate registration solution that Mesmerise Media created delivers an intuitive paginated registration form that guides users through the form displaying the percentage of progress the user has made through the form and allowing the user to digitally sign the document created by the data through secure third-party software. Meaning Hunterskill remain GDPR compliant by not holding any sensitive data on their webservers.

User journeys.
The digital candidate registration solution that Mesmerise Media created delivers an intuitive paginated registration form that guides users through the process displaying the percentage of progress the user has made. We applied various user experience design techniques throughout the form to reduce the drop rate (the percentage of people failing to complete a form). This included highlighting which input fields were compulsory, using toggle buttons for yes/no answers and breaking the form down into stages

Feedback.
We created an animated progress bar that helps the user understand how far along the registration process they are. We broke the form down into 4 key stages. This was important due to the length of the registration form.

Relevant input fields.
To aid the users in filling out the form we used multiple input formats. The multi-choice modules were developed to only allow the user to select two of the answers at any one time to eliminate user errors in the form.
Broadbean Integration.
Syncing job posts across all platforms.
Hunterskill Recruitment utilises the Broadbean software in order to post to multiple job boards from a central dashboard. Integrating the Broadbean software with the new website was a major focus and Mesmerise Media worked closely with Broadbean to ensure that the integration was seamless. Our gifted design and development team then customised the feed to ensure it was consistent with the design of the website.

Conclusion.
Since updating the brand and digitising their candidate registration process, Hunterskill Recruitment has seen a significant increase in the number of monthly registrations. The streamlining of the process means they save time and money and resources are spent elsewhere leading to more productivity in the office.
